DreamCakes by Teinisha was built from a passion for creating cakes that become part of life’s most memorable celebrations. For more than 28 years, Teinisha has transformed her creativity and love of cake design into one-of-a-kind creations for weddings, milestone birthdays, baby showers, corporate events and more.
Serving Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia, DreamCakes is known for personalized service, attention to detail and custom designs created to make every celebration feel extraordinary.
Meet Teinisha
My journey in the cake industry began at just 14 years old, working alongside my mother at Rolling Pin Bakery, the historic bakery she owned in Bladensburg, Maryland.
By 17, I was creating cakes of my own, beginning a passion that has now spanned more than 28 years. What I learned in those early years became the foundation for DreamCakes by Teinisha and the way I approach every celebration today.
DreamCakes is more than a business to me. It represents generations of entrepreneurship, creativity and a love for bringing people together through something sweet. Every cake I create carries a little piece of that history with it.
And after all these years, I still love seeing a client’s face when their cake is revealed.
